ABOUT US

Delphi Academy of San Diego is an independent, coeducational, non-sectarian day school with two campuses in San Diego county—La Jolla and San Marcos. Academics focus on providing students with a solid grounding in the basics, a rich and challenging hands-on curriculum, and the ability to study purposefully and independently.

The La Jolla school offers a Lower and Elementary School program—4 years old through sixth grade—and is located in the heart of the seaside community of La Jolla. The San Marcos school offers a Lower School program only—4 years old through third grade—and is situated in the historic Old Richland Schoolhouse in the middle of San Marcos, just off Highway 78.

Delphi Academy of San Diego schools are part of the Delphi Schools Network, a group of independent schools sharing uniquely developed curriculum and teaching methods. Children may enroll in either school as early as four years old, assuming the student will become five years old sometime during the current school year.

The Delphi Academy Program emphasizes:

  • Early education in the basics
  • Hands-on learning, practical application
  • Ensuring 100% understanding
  • Knowing how to study, the barriers to study and how to overcome them
  • Personal attention
  • Independent learning
  • Advancement based on demonstrated competency versus age or grade
  • Unique, broad-based, rich curriculum
