underwater themed art projects as well as enjoying a day trip to near by beaches
and/or Water Parks.
Lego Week
These amazing building blocks are the focus of this week's activities. Tower contests,
tunnels and more will be enjoyed in afternoon projects. Lego-shaped cake anyone?
A perfect field trip would of course be San Diego's Lego Land! Design and construction
with legos will bring science alive this week.
Inflatable Week
Campers of all ages love to jump, jump and jump some more, and the Pump It Up indoor
play arena in Poway is a favorite! Students will prepare for the trip with various
projects such as balloon animals, bubble art and PE with a jumpy castle. In science
classes campers will learn about bubbles, balloon science and gravity.
Zoo Week
Campers of all ages love animals, and the world famous San Diego Zoo is a favorite.
Students will prepare for the trip with various projects such as animal mobiles,
studying animal habitats and performing animal puppet shows. Animal-shaped cookies
are a Delphi favorite!
Aquarium Week
Your camper will get up close and personal at the outdoor touch tank of the Birch
Aquarium. There will be aquarium-themed art classes featuring the many underwater
creatures they will visit, and science classes will teach your camper fun facts
about our liquid loving friends!
Nature Week
Campers will embark on an adventure into nature this week. They will learn about
nearby deserts and coastal regions with afternoon trips. Older campers will take
their new knowledge and make Earth Books featuring their own imaginative continents
and oceans! Art projects will focus on use of natural materials and landscapes.
Marine Week
We dive underwater this week and learn about underwater creatures and habitats.
How do fish breathe? What do whales eat? How does a starfish get around? These and
many more questions will be answered! Art classes will have an underwater theme,
and science classes will prepare students to explore a favorite field trip to Sea
World. We end off Summer Camp with an End of Summer Family Picnic and Field Day
on Friday, August 17th.
Family Fun Week

Campers will learn about a family tree, locate where their families came from on
a world map and share family traditions. We end off Summer Camp with an End of Summer
Family Picnic and Field Day on Friday, August 17th.
